The Volta Regional Comand
BRIEF INTRODUCTION
The Volta Region is one of Ghana‘s sixteen administrative regions, with Ho designated as its capital. It is located west of the Republic of Togo and to the east of Lake Volta. The Ghana Immigration Volta Regional Command office is located in its capital with DCOI Noah Ahomka Yeboah. The Regional Command comprises, the Regional Office-Ho, five (5) district offices ( Kpando, Hohoe, Adidome, Torkor, and Keta), twelve (12) border posts, three (3) In-land checkpoints (Sogakope, Penyi, and Attivuta), one (1) pedestrian post beat nine (9)-Aflao, five (5) patrol bases (Hordzokope, Ashanti Kpoeta, School Junction (Aflao), Dadiase and KpandoTorkor) as well as several identified and manned unapproved routes. Table 1 below depicts the established and unapproved routes in the Region.
