The Oti Regional Command
The Upper West Region is one of the sixteen (16) regions of Ghana. The region has 11 political districts: Wa Municipal; Wa West; Wa East; Jirapa; Lambussie; Lawra; Nandom; Nadowli-Kaleo; Daffiama-Bussie-Issah; Sissala East; and Sissala West. The Ghana Immigration Service has Wa as its Regional Headquarters with DCOI Justice Bosomtwi-Ayensu as the Regional Commander.
LOCATION OF THE REGIONAL OFFICE
The Upper West Regional Command is located at block C, within the Ministries. It shares a two storey block with the GES, Peace Council, NIA, as well as Information Service Department.

Operational and Administrative Functions
The Tumu Sector Command is structured into the following units to fulfill its mandate:
- Border Operations and Patrol: Ensures the security of both approved and unapproved entry points.
- Intelligence Unit: Collects and analyzes data to support decision making.
- Enforcement Unit: Implements immigration laws and policies.
- IPSE (Immigration Professional Standard Ethics): Focuses on discipline and engagement of officers.
- Forward Operating Base (FOB) at Pina: A rapid response unit for emergencies.

JIRAPA MUNIPAL COMMAND ADDRESS AND CONTACT
The Jirapa municipal command located in the Jirapa township undertakes both district and checkpoint duties at Moyiri and also undertakes snap checks patrol in Hain and Yagha periodically.
DAFFIAMA ISSA BUSIE DISTRICT COMMAND ADDRESS AND CONTACT
