The Central Regional Command
The Central Regional command, Cape Coast is a coastal city located in the Central Region of Ghana, approximately 165 Kilometers southwest of the National Capital Accra. The city is situated on a rocky coastline, with the Gulf of Guinea to the South and the lush green hills of the Kwawu Plateau to the North.
The Region is being man by DCOI Muhammed Y. Hudu and DCOI George Tecku as the second in command. The command has the following sectors and district offices: Wenniba Sector, Agona Sweduru Sector, Salt Pound Sector, Assin Fosu District, Elmina Municipal Office, Dunkwa on-Offin Sector and Twifo Praso District.
FUNCTION OF THE COMMAND
- Issuance of permit and renewal
- Extension of visas
- Inspection of Hotels
- Collaborate with other sister agencies when the head arises
- Briefing the Comptroller-General on situation and other security issues within the command through RC’s monthly report.
